Ihre Aufgaben

  • Direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer
  • Provide direct leadership and management
  • Help improve business strategies in cooperation with the senior team
  • Ensure effective execution of corporate strategy
  • Attract and retain a high calibre management team
  • Communicate effectively with senior management team and support groups
  • Ensure direct reports are also current in their knowledge
  • Remain informed of trends
  • Partner with support departments to ensure programs, policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Routinely evaluate talent in partnership with Human Resources
  • Provide leadership to regional staff
  • Evaluate monthly financial reports and provide guidance and direction to the management team in property financial operations
  • Ensure achievement of NOI
  • Review and approve the recommended operating budgets
  • Hold VPs accountable for financial performance, capital execution and repositioning, and operational matters including resident feedback, training and performance standards
  • Develop strong market knowledge of core markets
  • Ensure VPs and RMs are well versed in their operating market and sub-markets Core Competencies

Ihr Profil

  • BA/BS in business or related field
  • Must display a professional image and demeanour at all times
  • Must be familiar with MS Excel and Word
  • Must possess willingness and demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Must be able to understand directives both orally and in writing
  • Must be have strong financial management skills and be well versed in budgeting and forecasting
  • Must have sales and marketing experience to include sales training and goal setting, market analysis, market plan creation and implementation
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement comprehensive programs and business strategies that support the company's financial goals and objectives
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to develop and enhance business relationships; ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful; mature, flexible
  • Must have strong leadership and management skills to include recruiting, hiring, team-building, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Must possess strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills
  • Must be resourceful and well organized; able to manage multiple priorities
