We implement change projects from operational excellence to digital solutions addressing all steps to reach your manufacturing targets.

The role as senior sales consultant covers all parts of the SCS offering including online and on-site activities. To make this happen the work scope includes intensive customer interaction to understand their challenges and address them to the right service solution within the SCS organization.

Senior Sales Consultant for Seco Consultancy in Europe, South America and Africa (f/m)

Your responsibilities:

  • You are a key element in developing, aligning and implementing the SCS sales strategy in the regions
  • Finding sales opportunities in the regions that lead to sales results
  • Understand and drive the change in behavior in our sales organization from a product-/component-driven scope to a manufacturing efficiency service scope
  • Initiate and support marketing communication activities, tools and channels based on virtual sharing and cooperation behavior as well as physical networking events where ecosystem creation, partnerships and community/social media development are key components
  • Evaluate and develop complementary sales channels suitable for consultancy service delivery
  • Active networking with regional SCS managers, sales managers and marketing managers to get input for improvements, synergies with product sales, and support regional customer activities

Your profile:

  • Master's degree in management or industrial engineering, or comparable education
  • Work experience from previous manufacturing consulting in production is a plus
  • International exposure and ability to work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Good networking and communication skills in English, German and preferably additional languages
  • Good understanding of IT and data communication in manufacturing
  • Proven seniority in sales of consultancy services related to manufacturing
  • Natural speaker at networking events like manufacturing and Industry 4.0 summits
  • Social media user / blogger
  • Intensive international travelling is required
