The Solution and Service Portfolio unit at the Building Technologies Division develops global strategies, messaging and tools which support the digitalization of buildings and processes. Our employees’ expertise remains a key driver of our business. We employ the right people to take action, the right technology to transform operations and the right services to increase asset performance across the entire building lifecycle. Our Strategic Marketing team in Zug is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Manager taking care of our vertical markets Data Centers and Life Science.

Your new responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the marketing strategy and marketing plan for the vertical markets Data Centers and Life Science
  • Positioning of our current and future Division portfolio for customers, accounts and organizations, especially for strategic and high-level management
  • Definition of key markets, figures/facts and target groups according to the strategic roadmap for the Division business together with portfolio management
  • Cooperation with our business lines as well as the market development boards, account management and corporate communications
  • Analysis of existing markets and new market fields, regions and branch set-ups
  • Supporting the strategic planning process based on your own forecasts and report analyses
  • Validation and consolidation of market data (collection, analyses, communications and competitor intelligence) and identification of business opportunities
  • Preparing and participating at specific trade fairs and customer events

Your skills and experience

  • A successfully completed university degree in marketing or similar
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in sales and/or marketing of value-based business, mainly in the field of building management in a multinational technology company
  • Proven understanding of the building management market as well as technical understanding of building technology portfolio elements gives you an appropriate, sound background
  • Good understanding of end customers’ behaviour and the ability to explain your area of expertise to non-experts
  • Work experience within an international, cross-cultural and interdisciplinary team
  • A stable personal and social network is further needed for this position
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and communication skills in English and German
