Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer

Your main tasks include:
  • Collaborating with multi-discipline and diverse project teams
  • Design of components and related assemblies in Siemens NX and MatLab
  • Create documentation such as drawings, technical specification, test reports
  • Engage in technical negotiations with suppliers
  • Interacts with suppliers and participates in processes to access component and assembly’s manufacturability
  • Design and validation of prototypes to proof concepts
  • Manage prototype- and product testing
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the R&D Team

Your profile:
  • You have completed your studies in mechanical engineering or equivalent; experience in optomechanics/optronics is a plus
  • You have proven track record of 3+ years in an mechanical engineering environment
  • You have experience with agile project management approaches
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive attitude and a hands-on mentality
  • You are an open-minded team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • You like to think "out of the box"
  • You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team using English as primary language but also German as a communication language
