Our client is a leading global banking institute with a branch in Switzerland, they have a 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity for an experienced

HR SUPPORT (6-month Contract)

Target of the role:

Responsible for performing a variety of Human Resources tasks regarding the employee life cycle and supporting HR Manager and projects

Main tasks:

  • New Hire document completion for regular staff, trainees, issue standard contract, distribution of New Hire package to new employee, tracking return of documentation, set up new hire file
  • Handle Pre-Employment Screening, writing welcome letters, process all new hire documents (social security card, criminal check etc.)
  • Temporary staff administration (incl. new hires and billing), process agency invoices upon agreement with the Head of HR
  • Leaver Process, Leaver document completion for all staff, trainees, issue departure agreement, tracking return of documentation, close the files, etc.
  • Administer staff files: filing, making staff files etc.
  • Handle Payroll administration
  • Handle employee questions or inquiries, promote and maintain good employee relations
  • Issue interim and final certificates incl. work confirmations
  • Initiate and manage induction days for all new arrivals
  • Responsible for work permits in Switzerland and abroad, organize temporary housing for assignees with external relocation company
  • Handle HR processes, projects, presentations, drive own initiatives

Requirements:

  • Commercial education or equivalent, further training to Personalassistentin, Personalfachfrau preferably with a few years of HR related experience including Payroll
  • HR Administrative or process background would be nice to have, the industry is irrelevant
  • Excellent in English and German (speaking and writing)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player but can work independently and use own initiative, client service mind set
  • High sense of discretion and confidentiality, which goes without saying
  • Open minded and humorous person who enjoys working in an international environment
